THE WOOD SHOP

Fountain Valley Baptist Church is dedicated to raising our teenagers with a passion to worship, obey, serve, and be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ.    We are dedicated to working, leading, and serving in our local church and community to discover our God given gifts and talents, we commit to doing various local outreach activities, and are offering yearly mission trip opportunities, and attending yearly weekend youth conferences (like Acquire the Fire and Dare-2-Share).  Some of the other events we participate in are the annual Friends and Family Banquet (Valentines Day), an annual youth led service, the Hallelujah party, Awana family night, a community Thanksgiving dinner, Winter Jam Christian concerts, six flag Elitches trip, and other quarterly fun activities.  The youth group is called the “Wood Shop” and they attempt to live up to their calling as “Helpers” for Jesus Christ.  This year we will be adding the junior and senior high Awana curriculum to our Sunday night activities which begin at 6:30 PM.  We will continue to meet on Wednesday nights as a youth group at 7:00 PM.  We also provide interactive Sunday school classes for each of the grades beginning at 9:30 AM followed by our morning worship service at 10:45AM.
